Fine Folk Pizza Delivery Fee

$3.5 of the delivery fee goes to our drivers per delivery for gas and vehicle mileage expenses. The other $3.49 goes to the house to cover the cost of delivery driver insurance.  The fee is NOT the driver’s tip.  Please tip your delivery drivers well as they work hard to get you your pizza hot and on time! 

To help cover the rise in expenses that have occurred.  Unfortunately, we must charge for delivery to still offer delivery.  We are the last business in the area to set a delivery fee.

We feel it would not be fair to the customer base who prefers to pick up their pizza to incur delivery-related extra charges. 

There are also many companies with a higher delivery charge than $6.99.  Some delivery companies that have lower delivery fees , may also have marked up prices on their menus as much as 30% to offset the commission paid to these platforms.  For example, a classic Chick-fil-a Sandwich is $4.40 but listed as $5.10 on DoorDash, and the Big Mac Meal is $7.99 vs $8.89.  

We’ve done our best to let our customers know through the website, the point of sale system, in person, and on the phone at checkout.

No! Please don’t mistake the delivery fee for the driver’s tip. 

Our base fee of $6.99 covers up to 5 miles. Beyond that it's $1 per mile.
